The Tuyotukian Ghoul also known as Jikininki is a subspecies of Ghouls found in the Tuyotuki Islands. Smarter than a common Ghoul, but less of an Alghoul, it is characterized by, unlike other ghouls, walking on all fours and an obsession with jewelry. Especially that of the dead. In its original world, it probably had some function related to mining, as it favors ores, minerals and materials most sentient beings consider valuable.
Physiology[]
Inactive form[]
An Okamese Ghoul resembles a normal human corpse decorated with jewels in its inactive form, due to the energy-saving measures it employs its normally bluish-purple skin takes on shades reminiscent of its last meals ethnicity, a handy quirk of the species at deception.
Active form[]
When an Tuyotukian Ghoul becomes triggered by a meal within range it rapidly changes into its true form, the first and most notable change that happens is the return to its true bluish-purple pigmentation, its ears will length longer than an elf's, the bottom jaw will split revealing a set of saw-like fangs on its lower jaw, the digits on its hands will lengthen by three times ending in razor-sharp claws. Its legs will lengthen revealing an additional joint through which the Tuyotukian Ghoul will be able to move much faster than their prey in short bursts.
