A leucrote is a creature, similar to a cross between a lion and a hyena. Which appeared in the world after The Conjunction of the Spheres.
Like many other creatures, after the colonization of the Northern Kingdoms by the nordlings, this creature realized that it was easier to get preys to feed on if it attacked human settlements. Which led these creatures to earn their nickname "man-eater."
Several subspecies of leucrote can be found throughout The Continent.
