Landis was a young black dragon that nested in Temeria during the The Second Northern War.
Biography[]
Landis was raised by his loving parent Casarak and enjoyed a peaceful childhood, reflected in their smooth scales.
In the year 1172 Landis razed the Temerian Village of White Orchard, after becoming enemies with the Verrieres, a Temerian noble family. The village was razed after one of the offending nobles fled there after harrassing Landis.
Personality[]
Landis has a nervous personality, easily excitable and quick to run if things don't go his way. Landis takes pride in his knowledge particularly on the subject of magical theory and places of power should a being strike up a conversation with him in a subject he is versed he is quite friendly to humanoids and thoroughly explains his knowledge. Landis however hates arrogance and is quick to punish or react to it, a scholar once brought a bodyguard with him to converse with Landis, the bodyguard was quite rude insulting the dragon twice once about Landis, himself the second time about his father Casarak. The first time Landis brushed it off for the sake of his friend the scholar and the continued good conversation, the second time however was met with tooth and claw quickly ending the man's life. Landis unlike most dragons does not fancy gems and gold but keeps a hoard of pelts and hunting trophies, something he loves to talk about with his few guests.
