Iose was a Nilfgaardian noblewoman of some renown in the Empire. She had a fairly sized estate in the Empire run by her majordomo, a man named Votru.
Early life (1196 - 1212)[]
Iose's mother was killed by a rogue mage who had a vendetta against her family. While her father was exiled to the Korath Desert. Likely he committed a major crime but killing him would cause trouble, Iose inherited the family estate. Iose grew up in the family manor without any relatives, training to be well-versed in the world of the court. The luxury was her incentive. Her greatest influence throughout her life was the Church of the Great Sun, she spent years learning chants and rituals, and was a great supporter of the religion.
Iose trains with a soldier (1215)[]
To better prepare herself for life in the Nilfgaardian court system, Iose had a trainer teach her to be more mobile and better at dodging.
Iose kills her lover (1225)[]
Iose suffered a romantic tragedy, court politics got between her and her lover and she was forced to kill him.
Iose gained an ally in the nobility (1226)[]
After saving them from a court debacle a fellow noble owes Iose a favor. She gained some political movement in Toussaint.
Iose befriends Francesca Findabair (1240)[]
Iose befriended the elven sorceress Francesca Findabair, the two met at a party while drunk and hit it off. The two of them were inseparable. She is currently in Dol Blathanna as its duchess.
Iose earns a mage's favor (1255)[]
The imperial mage Eishe of Vicovaro owes a favor to Iose after the noble comes to her aid in a political case.
Blessed by a priest (1256)[]
Blessed by a priest. For her devotion, Iose was given a holy symbol which she carries on her person at all times.
Iose earns a witcher's favor (1269)[]
Iose gets involved with a witcher's trial and convinces the court of the vedymin's innocence. The witcher promises the noblewoman a favor in the future.
Iose gets married (1270)[]
Iose enters into a happy love affair with a highly decorated Nilfgaardian doctor named Cornall, though not of noble blood, he is quite well off and charming. Iose also gets along with his daughter as well.

Personality and Traits[]
She has an unkind approach to friendliness, but is genuinely honest. She is assertive on a individual basis but demands positive feedback for her ego's sake. She has average manners and can be belligerent in arguments. She demands things be orderly but is rebellious when rules get in her way. She has shown a neutral emotional range, leading to rumors about her having gone through the witcher trials. She rarely gets angry and takes a contemplative approach to thinking. She is not overly active in her lifestyle choices.
Standing 6' 1" tall, this bronze skinned woman has a really tough feel about her.
She has an angular face, a pointed nose, and angled lips. Her dark brown eyes are bulging and she has bushy eyebrows.
Her brown hair, dip-dyed half way with shades of white, is medium-length, straight and is unstyled.
She wears smokey eye shadow.
She has slanted shoulders, muscular arms, a heavy torso with adolescent breasts with a narrow waist, and long legs.
She usually wears scruffy, sporty clothes that are mostly black and slightly too big, and she wears multiple bronze rings on both hands.

- Iose's household typically consists of herself, her husband Cornall, occasionally her daughter-in-law Aedha, her majordomo Votru, ten guards, a gardener, a master of the hunt, and a personal physician.
