They weren't very close during their time in Kaer Okleddol, however, after their graduation they met several times in the Path and fought together on several ocasions, forging a strong friendship.
When Christa was imprisioned by the Nilfgaardians, it was the witcher that helped Anika recue her, cementing their frienship and trust.
Their frienship continued when He married a female Ice Elf, retired as a Witcher and moved with his two wifes to the Great Glacier to live amongst the Aen Ghele, so much so, He was present in Kaer Okleddol for Christa's wedding to Anika.

It was with help of Corentin that Anika managed to free Christa from her imprisionment in the Nilfgaardian Empire.
When He achieved the title ot Master Witcher, they became close in friendship and in the goal of making the Gyrfalcon School thrive.
Their frienship continued when He married a female Ice Elf, retired as a Witcher and moved with his two wifes to the Great Glacier to live amongst the Aen Ghele. When he made this decision, Anika offered him a role as Ambassador of the school as a way to continue connected with them and with the goal of creating good and lasting relations between the Ice Folk and the school she ruled, for this she gave him a Megascope and crystal to maintain a line of comunication with Her and the school.

Alchemy[]

A brewing process for making potions, oils, decoctions, etc of the witcher trade.
Witchering Potions[]
Using alchemy Corentin is able to brew potions which have calculated effects on witchers but are toxic to most other mortals.
  • Bindweed: Bindweed was created specifically to counter monsters which employ acid as a weapon. Witchers also call it 'swamp potion', because monsters which spit acid or have caustic blood are most often found in swamps. The Bindweed potion increases resistance to acid and acid-based poisons.
  • Black Blood: The drinker's blood becomes lethal to monsters which drink it. Specially effective against Vampires, of all kinds.
  • Blizzard: Blizzard is one of the most powerful witchers' potions; it improves reflexes and reaction time, allowing a witcher to better parry and evade attacks. It slows down time, making the witcher's movement and everything else slower. It is most helpful against groups of enemies and monsters that move fast or teleport, such as wraiths and various types of vampires.
  • Cat: Cat is one of the potions witchers use most often. After imbibing it, the witcher is able to see in total darkness and will avoid being surprised by any nocturnal creatures. The potion allows its user to see both living creatures and those made of inanimate matter, even through walls. Cat slightly disrupts perception, however, as a result of which its user deals less damage to monsters. The Rook potion can be used to alleviate this side effect.
  • Kiss: This potion affects witchers' mutated bodies by forcing their blood to congeal almost instantaneously. It is often consumed before taking on monsters known to inflict hemorrhaging wounds.
  • White Honey: White Honey strongly stimulates the production of purifying enzymes in witchers' mutated bodies. Thus, it frees their bodies of the effects of toxicity, though it simultaneously nullifies the beneficial effects of any potions previously consumed. White Honey does not alleviate the effects of common venoms and poisons.
  • Killer Whale: Doubles the time a witcher can hold their breath and lets them see better while underwater.
School Exclusive Potions[]
  • Cyflymder: Increases the witcher speed for a duration of two hours
  • Ymwrthedd: When drank, this potion increases the witcher's stamina for fourty minutes
  • Hebflino: For a duration of half an hour this potion stops the witcher to ever tire.
  • Falcon Eyes: An improved version of the Cat potion that grants 25% more night vision and distance than the cat does.
Witcher Decoctions[]
Using alchemy Corentin is a able to brew decoctions which are a stronger type of witcher potion often using monster parts as ingredients, and have stronger effects. Only a few decoctions at a time can be used at once as they are much stronger than conventional witcher potions.
  • Alghoul decoction: Accelerates the creation of Adrenaline.
  • Arachas decoction: Slightly harddens the skin of the drinker, increasing his/her resistance to weapon and monster damage.
  • Basilisk decoction: Increases the intensity of the first sign that it is used after the user drinks this decoction.
  • White Raffard's Decoction: Accelerates the healing of flesh wounds and the purging of poisons from the witcher's body.
  • Werewolf decoction: Increases the witcher's stamina
  • Weapon Oils: Using the alchemical process Corentin is able to brew oils to coat his swords in to deal more damage to certain types of beings and creatures.
  • Beast oil: A oil that when applied to her steel sword deals increased damage to beasts
  • Cursed oil: A oil that increases the damage against cursed creatures
  • Draconid oil: A oil that increases the damage against dragons and other draconoid creatures
  • Elementa oil: When applied to silver swords it increases the damage against elementa monsters
  • Hanged Man's Venom: A oil that when applied to her steel sword deals increased damage to humans and non-humans.
  • Hybrid oil: When applied to silver swords it increases the damage against Hybrid monsters
  • Insectoid Oil: Increases the silver sword damage against insectoids
  • Necrophage Oil: Increases the silver sword damage against necrophages
  • Ogroid oil: Increases the silver sword damage against ogroids
  • Relict oil: Increases the silver sword damage against Fiends and other relicts
  • Specter Oil: A oil that increases the damage against sepcters, like Hyms
  • Vampire Oil: A oil that when applied to her silver sword, deals increased damage against all kinds of vampires, exept against the Unseen Elder of Toussaint that appears to be resistent to any kind of potion, decoction or oil.

Due to her training at Kaer Okleddol and later to her years in the path and around the continent, Corentin learned to speak more than just the Northern languages.

Like other students from other witchering schools, Corentin learned to use a crossbow, however, despite having the ability to use it masterfully, Corentin chooses to use the weapon only against flying monsters and creatures, all others she will use her swords.
Master Hand to Hand Combatant[]
Like other Witchers, Corentin learned to protect herself without her swords, able to defeat multiple armed opponents while being unarmed. Her enhanced strength and knowledge of both humanoid and monster anatomy allows Corentin a better chance unarmed than most people, able to shatter humanoid bones and use monstrous momentum against large monsters to throw them to the ground.

Like most witchers, Corentin was thoroughly trained in fencing. Due to the nature of the Gyrfalcon's school teachings, Corentin only needs to slightly change her fighting style to adapt to the circumstances and to her oponent, not needing to learn any new way to fight to continue to be an effective fighter.

Abilities[]

  • Signs: Witchers have the ability to perform simple yet incredibly versatile simple magic in the form of signs. They also develop a sixth sense that allows them to "feel" things around them, be it items of importance or people's immediate intentions. This explains their uncanny ability to track and hunt people and monsters.
  • Regenerative Healing Factor Level 2: Witchers usually have quick(er) recovery from injuries. While not instant healing a witcher's healing time is highly unusual taking a fraction of the time to heal as well as surviving more deadly wounds possible.
    • Minor to moderate wounds such as small cuts, bruises, and burns usually take a few seconds to fully heal, with more severe injuries like lost limbs, internal organs, and damaged nerves and cells taking minutes or hours to heal.
    • Demi-Immortality: A Witcher's cellular senescence is drastically reduced, if not completely halted. It is unknown if a witcher has semi-immortality or a life extension as no known Witcher has died of natural causes but Witchers have incredibly long lifespans and prolonged youth. While each Witcher is different, a Witcher's known life expectancy is varied as they usually died in battle.
  • Witchers' possess the ability to receive mutagenic materials from monsters and process it into their being through Witcher decoctions. This allows a Witcher to take on traits and the improved conditions of the monster, this is a incredibly dangerous process so a Witcher can only handle one or two decoctions at a time, as a inbred safety precaution if a Witcher already has two decoctions in their system and takes a third one, the oldest decoction's effects are overwritten.
    • Monster & Beast Physiology: By consuming certain Witcher concoctions, a Witcher is able to take on traits of the decoction's donor.
  • Extra mutations: Because of the mutations that the surviving Haw School Gemerian Mages gave the mages at the Gyrfalcon school, Corentin acquired certain capabilities that his original mutations did not give her.

    • Air Sign
      • Aard: Aard is a simple magical sign used by witchers. It is comprised of a telekinetic thrust that can stun, repel, knock down, or disarm opponents, as well as remove barriers and other objects.
      • Supirre: Supirre is a Sign enhancing the auditory perception of the user. Drawn on a solid surface, it allows the people near the Sign to hear sounds which would be normally inaudible due to the distance or background noise. As such, it is often used for eavesdropping.
    • Fire Signs
      • Igni: Igni is a simple magical sign used by witchers. It is comprised of a pyrokinetic burst that can repel and ignite opponents, as well as start fires.
        • Igni Alternate Form-Melt Armor: Igni's alternate form permanently weakens enemy Armor by extremely heating it.
    • Spirit Element Signs
      • Yrden: Yrden is a simple magical sign used by witchers. When inscribed on a solid surface, it blocks the monsters from getting closer, scaring them off. If a hostile being enters the area affected by Sign, it is visibly slowed down, and non-corporeal forces become corporeal.
        • Yrden Alternate Form- Magic Trap: Yrden's alternate form creates a stationary glyph of magical energy that strikes at and slows down hostile forces within a certain radius, as well as destroys and projectiles that happen to pass through that radius. Multiple Magic Traps can be placed down at once by experienced witchers.
    • Mind Sign
      • Hatri: This telempathic sign reflects the opponent's hate, bloodlust and hunger back to its source, making the monster afraid.
        It can also be used against humans, showing them the worst part of themselves.
      • Somne: Somne is a simple magical sign used by witchers. It is used to put the target to sleep, and may possibly also leave them open to some form of suggestion.
    • Earth Signs
      • Quen: Quen is a simple magical sign used by witchers. When cast, it forms a protective shield in front of the caster, protecting the witcher from sonic waves and similar attacks from that angle. Its expanded form can protect from the wider range of offensive actions. Quen is active until broken or dispelled.
        • Quen Alternate Form- Exploding Shield: Quen shield pushes opponents back when it breaks.
        • Quen Alternate Form- Active Shield: Quen's alternate form creates a bubble of protective energy to form around the witcher it is stronger than the original form but is more draining on the witcher and requires them to remain in place.
        • Quen Alternate Form- Quen Discharge: Reflects a part of the absorbed damage back to the attacker and, at the same time, restores some of the witcher's stamina.
    • Protection Signs
      • Heliotrop: Heliotrop or Heliotrope is a magical sign used by witchers. It is made by crossing one's wrists, and works as a buffer against physical attacks, combat magic and impacts with walls, ground etc.
    • Water Signs
      • Axii: Axii is a simple magical sign comprised of a hypnotic effect and is used by witchers. It can calm down people and creatures, manipulate their minds or be used to hex enemies, causing them to fight alongside the caster. The effect wears off over time or can be prematurely broken if they take damage from the caster.
        • Axii Alternate Form- Puppet: Axii's alternate sign forces an enemy to temporarily become an ally and fight on your side during a conflict for a short time as well as boosting their physical abilities for the duration of the conversion.
