Geographically, it is a very mountainous territory, which has a main river that divides the nation into two parts. This river is 90% navigable ( connects with the capital of the country ) and is born somewhere in the Haa Mountains. Buyan It also has some streams which feed this main river.

Its river flows into the Muqana Lake in the desert. Which is relatively close to the roads that lead to Zerzura.

Buyan's climate varies with elevation, from subtropical in the south to temperate in the highlands and polar-type climate with year-round snow in the north. Buyan experiences five distinct seasons: summer, monsoon, autumn, winter and spring. Western Buyan has the heavier monsoon rains; southern Buyan has hot humid summers and cool winters; central and eastern Buyan are temperate and drier than the west with warm summers and cool winters.

History[]

The origin of the buyanese, is in part related to Zerrikania. since their first records indicate that their main ancestors came from there, being emigrants during the Golden Age of the Matriarchy when this one had a great influence in the east.

This is also reflected in their customs, their main religion for example is a variant of Zerrikanian beliefs about dragons and its language is a variation of the Zerrikanian dialect influenced by the languages of Melukka and Feiwo.

But it is also related to the Melukka nations closest to the territory and the Okami Islands. Since the immigration of Melukka and the imperial period of the Okami Islands in which Buyan became part of its territory through the marriage of the Emperor of the Islands with the Dragon Queen ended up defining the Buyanese as they are today, a mixture of zerrikanians, melukkans and okamese people. From an indeterminate time until 1284, the kingdom was ruled by Chalik, a dictator. He was overthrown by the Fabio Sachs expedition and Kai Yih.

14th century[]

Its mountainous terrain prevented Buyan from being conquered by the Haaks in the 14th century during their expansion in the east.
